New Asia Records is founded by award-winning Singaporean producer arranger composer Andrew Lum in 2001.

Established to be Asia's most progressive and premier record label, New Asia Records specialises in producing a new genre of Asian world fusion featuring some of the top traditional instrumentalists in Asia.

Our work has generated keen interests from the music industry by virtue of its unique genre of music. International publications such as Billboard magazine and ProSound News Asia have covered extensive write-ups on the artistes and Andrew himself.

Our artistes are among the top instrumentalists in the genre of Asian world fusion in Asia. They have been featured in international media such as Channel News Asia and CNBC Asia, and international world music events such as WOMAD 2000 Singapore, the First Malaysia Volvo World Music Festival 2000 and MIDEM 2001. They have also performed in Hong Kong, Germany, Italy, France and Sweden.

The key to unlocking this new seamless blend of East meets West lies in our ability to strike a delicate balance between the commercially successful elements of Western music and the deep mysticism of Eastern melodies.
